We love ceramics and we love design – that’s what ORO BIANCO HANDMADE TILES embodies.
Each tile is produced with a great deal of know-how and extraordinary craftsmanship. To understand the wishes and ideas of our customers, we create a mutual cooperation with them in which everyone exchanges and works together toward the same goal. We want to give that uniqueness to your rooms.
What was special about the boutique hotel you have visited? The striking three-dimensional wall tiles in the bathroom. What does set the mood for an enjoyable evening in the Michelin-starred restaurant? The shimmering, light-reflecting wall in the hotel lobby.
This is what ORO BIANCO HANDMADE TILES can do. We turn special things into unique.
In our manufacturing plant in Kannenbäckerland, Germany, we place particular emphasis on craftsmanship and sustainability. Each tile passes through the expert hands of eight ceramic and glazing masters. The appreciation of nature, which has gifted us with a unique deposit of raw material in the Westerwald, is an important part of sustainable ceramic production.
As early as in the Baroque period, products from Kannenbäckerland were known across the borders for their high quality. At that time, family businesses, small workshops and medium-sized companies could be found throughout the Westerwald. Although competition was fierce, the craft of the potters then known as “Kannenbäcker” had been admired for generations. The characteristic light-coloured clays, in particular, were very famous and were known as the white gold of the Westerwald – hence ORO BIANCO.
We carry this heritage with dignity and proudly continue the art of ceramics manufacturing.
As an established manufacturer of high-quality natural products, we act with foresight. Sustainability has a very special place in our manufacturing process. In accordance with the cradle-to-cradle principle, our raw materials are recyclable and residues are constantly and systematically reincorporated into the production process.
